AxleVR provides virtual reality procedure training for industrial teams, helping workers practise high-risk tasks without using live equipment or interrupting operations. Its training modules are built from each customer’s standard operating procedures, incorporating site-specific steps, hazards and sign-off criteria. Designed to run on Meta Quest headsets, the simulations let trainees rehearse procedures, make mistakes safely, receive coaching and complete pass/fail assessments.
Training topics include lockout/tagout, confined space entry, hot work permits, line breaking and machine start-up or shutdown. AxleVR offers a 4–8 week Procedure Pilot focused on one critical procedure, with loaner headsets for a cohort of 15–30 trainees. The pilot includes discovery with the customer’s subject matter expert, HSE and training leads, followed by training and a results report with a rollout recommendation.
AxleVR tracks assessment pass rates, time to competence, procedural errors and supervisor confidence, providing evidence for health, safety and learning teams. The company says its team has delivered enterprise VR simulations for global energy and cement companies.
