AYF Eastern USA

AYF-YOARF Eastern Region USA is the regional organization of an international, nonprofit Armenian youth organization. It brings young people of different ages and backgrounds together to advance Armenian causes through social, cultural, educational, political, and athletic activities—the organization’s five guiding pillars. Its work includes Hai Tahd advocacy, promoting justice for Armenians, recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and freedom and independence for Armenia and Artsakh. Members also build connections through chapter activities, events, media, and annual competitions that encourage camaraderie across generations.

The organization offers programs that connect Armenian youth with their heritage and homeland. These include the AYF Internship in Armenia, a two-month opportunity for diaspora participants to live and work in Armenia, gain professional experience, volunteer, and build connections. It also supports Camp Javakhk, a free day-camp program in Armenian-populated towns in Georgia, organized with the Armenian Relief Society. Its Sponsor a Student initiative collects donations for backpacks and school supplies for displaced Artsakh students in Armenia.
