The Opportunity Tree is an Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit with more than 63 years of experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Serving Maricopa and Pinal counties, with locations in Phoenix, Casa Grande, and Maricopa, it provides community-focused supports to help members live fulfilling lives and find their place.
Its SEEDS Supported Employment program offers one-to-one assistance to find and keep competitive, integrated jobs. LEAF is a community-integrated adult day program, while Tree Fort provides after-school and summer programming for teens aged 14 and older. Community Living services include group homes, IDLA, home and community-based services, attendant care, and respite care. The organization also offers inclusive activities through programs such as Fireslammers and Special Olympics.
Beyond direct services, The Opportunity Tree advocates for its members and works with community partners. Donations help build and sustain dynamic program environments beyond the basics covered by state reimbursements. As a qualifying Arizona charitable organization, eligible contributions may qualify for the state charitable tax credit.
