Azalea City Golf Course is a municipal golf destination owned and operated by the City of Mobile, Alabama. Located in Langan Park, it has welcomed golfers since opening in 1957. Designed by Robert Bruce Harris, the traditional parkland course offers 18 holes, a par-72 layout, and 6,850 yards of play. Its history includes hosting the inaugural Mobile Sertoma Open Invitational, where Arnold Palmer won the following year. A 1998 renovation replaced the greens with Champion bermuda grass while retaining the course’s classic character.
Azalea City provides an accessible golf experience with affordable rates and services for players of varied skill levels. Golfers can book tee times online or by phone, visit the Pro Shop, and practice at the full-size driving range, which includes a putting green, chipping green, and practice bunker. Golf lessons are also available. Seasonal tee-time and Pro Shop hours accommodate changing daylight and course conditions. The facility additionally features the Azalea City Grill, event booking, and ADA accommodations through the City of Mobile Parks and Recreation Department.
