AZ Hops & Vines is not your average winery. What started as a fearless dream in the face of skepticism and doubt has now become a thriving reality. Founded by Megan Stranik, who was first introduced to the world of winemaking at Sonoita Vineyard, the original vineyard in the Sonoita area, established in 1983.

Megan's passion for growing and tending to the plants led her to open her own winery. With years of experience working in various wineries, Megan has honed her skills in every aspect of winemaking. From planting and weeding to lab work and bottling, she has mastered the entire process.

Her sister, Shannon Zouzoulas, along with her three kids, joined in on the adventure and played a crucial role in making Hops & Vines a reality. When you visit AZ Hops & Vines, you'll find Megan outside, tending to the farm. Despite the challenges, she is always happy to chat with guests about her impossible little winery.
