Arizona Perinatal Trust (APT) is a reputable nonprofit organization established in 1980 with a strong commitment to improving the health of mothers and babies in Arizona. Governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees and Board of Directors, APT operates as a private-public partnership, collaborating with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and state agencies to create an effective regionalized perinatal healthcare system. APT offers three main components: certification, perinatal education, and perinatal data analysis.

Through their Voluntary Certification Program, hospitals can undergo a quality improvement process, aligning their capabilities and capacity with established guidelines. Perinatal Education includes the Annual Arizona Perinatal Trust Conference and ongoing education for perinatal staff and patients. APT's ultimate goal is to ensure that every mother and baby in Arizona receives the best care, regardless of their location.

They work tirelessly to provide equal access to high-quality care and are driven by the belief that birth outcomes significantly impact the lives of individuals. Funding for APT primarily comes from hospital certification and membership fees, with additional revenue generated through donations and grants. To support their cause and contribute to the improvement of perinatal healthcare in Arizona, you can make a donation through their website.
