About AZPHA
The AZ Public Health Association, established in 1928, is dedicated to enhancing the health of Arizona communities through public health assessment, policy development, and evaluation. Over the years, the association has played a crucial role in addressing various health issues such as access to care, infectious diseases, reproductive health, nutrition, and environmental concerns.
As the organization approaches its 100th anniversary in 2028, it continues to uphold its mission of improving public health in Arizona. Through conferences, events, and advocacy efforts, AZPHA brings together health officials, workers, and volunteers to create a healthier future for the state.
Additionally, the organization acknowledges and honors the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded the land for centuries. By recognizing the historical injustices and committing to supporting Indigenous rights and culture, AZPHA strives to promote health equity and inclusivity in Arizona. Join AZPHA in their mission to create a healthier and more equitable future for all.
