Azyl Gaia is a small animal sanctuary founded on June 9, 2010, by Jiřina Vrábelová. Based in Lužná, Czech Republic, the registered association works to provide a dignified and caring home for abandoned and abused animals. The sanctuary recognizes that each animal arrives with a difficult story and, despite having modest resources, strives to ensure that its residents feel safe and content.
Cats are a particular focus of Azyl Gaia’s work. The organization introduces its cats on its website and shares information about the sanctuary and ways people can help. Its services center on caring for animals in need and providing them with a secure place to live. Visitors can contact the sanctuary by telephone or email, learn about its residents, and find details for its transparent bank account. Azyl Gaia welcomes animal lovers and supporters who want to learn more about its work and contribute to the welfare of abandoned and mistreated animals.
