BJV

The Bayerischer Judo-Verband e.V. (BJV) serves as the essential governing body for judo in Bavaria, operating under the umbrella of the Bavarian Sports Association (BLSV) and the German Judo Federation (DJB). The BJV is dedicated to promoting and developing judo across all levels, from grassroots participation to elite performance.

With a variety of programs and services, the BJV supports athletes and clubs by offering training resources, competition opportunities, and organizational guidance. They provide a platform for training and skill development through stützpunkt training (training centers), resources for judges, and educational programs for coaches and athletes alike.

The federation is also actively involved in fostering youth engagement in sports, promoting integration, and ensuring the well-being of its members through initiatives against doping and violence in sports. By joining the BJV, individuals and clubs become part of a vibrant judo community committed to excellence and mutual growth in the sport.
