About Baalbek
Baalbek is a renowned brand that offers a unique dining experience in Budapest. Originally opened in November 2015 as the Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest restaurant, Baalbek has since become an independent establishment operated by Mellow Mood Hotels. This sunlit restaurant showcases the flavors of the Mediterranean cuisine in a delightful ambiance.
Guests can savor traditional Lebanese dishes while enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Danube River and the legendary Arab hospitality. In addition to the authentic Lebanese menu, Baalbek also offers an exceptional selection of shisha, making it a one-of-a-kind destination in Budapest. The restaurant takes its name from the Lebanese city flooded with sunshine and Csontváry-Kosztka Tivadar's famous painting.
After temporarily closing in 2018 due to building renovations, Baalbek has relocated to Belgrád rakpart and reopened in 2019 with spacious interiors, a separate floor, breathtaking views, and a fresh new design. Baalbek continues to uphold its mission of introducing Middle Eastern flavors to the capital city, inviting both old and new guests to indulge in a truly extraordinary dining experience
