Babakids

Babakids is an online platform that connects families in Brazil with independent childcare providers and other home-service professionals. Families can browse profiles in their area, filter options according to their needs, compare qualifications and reviews, message caregivers, and arrange interviews directly. The platform lists several childcare arrangements, including daytime, nighttime, daily, fortnightly, and monthly care, as well as nannies with nursing skills and providers offering domestic support. It also features host-based childcare, described as care in a setting where children can play and interact with others.

Creating a family profile is free, and users can receive and reply to messages from local nannies without charge. Paid subscription plans unlock family-initiated contact and may include profile visibility benefits or alerts about new local caregivers. Babakids is a connection service, not a nanny agency: it says it does not conduct background checks or select caregivers. It verifies whether a nanny’s stated address exists, while encouraging families to check references, review profiles, and interview candidates before hiring.
