BA.BI.Trails

BA.BI.Trails is a volunteer association dedicated to maintaining and enhancing mountain bike trails in Bagnolo Piemonte, in the Valle Infernotto area of Piedmont. Founded by local biking enthusiasts, it brings together volunteers from nearby towns to restore historic routes and care for the region’s trail network. Its work supports cleaner, safer trails while encouraging respect for nature and keeping the local area active.

The association promotes a varied riding experience, with routes ranging from flowing trails to technical descents and views across the Alps and Piedmont plain. Trails are mapped with details such as length, elevation and difficulty, and classified using the ITRS scale for riders of different abilities. Many routes are rideable year-round, and the area’s road access makes it suitable for bike-shuttle services.

BA.BI.Trails applies sustainable trail-building principles informed by IMBA Italia training. It also organizes events and group rides, shares trail conditions and local information, and invites the public to support its volunteer work through donations or by joining the association.
