Babynest Bergedorf is a parent and baby support service led by Janin Mennen, a certified BabySteps® course instructor and specialist in baby-friendly complementary feeding, with and without purées. Based in Hamburg, the business offers BabySteps® courses for babies aged 0–12 months and their parents. Sessions include sensory activities and movement games for babies, alongside opportunities for parents to meet, share experiences and discuss questions about family life with a baby.

Course topics include baby sleep, breastfeeding, milk, carrying and the introduction of solid foods. Babynest Bergedorf aims to give new parents practical orientation and evidence-informed knowledge about babies’ needs, while offering a welcoming space for conversation and mutual support. Its approach places the wellbeing of the whole family at the forefront and emphasizes strengthening the parent-child bond. Drawing on her own experience of motherhood, Janin Mennen seeks to accompany families as they find their way through early parenthood, helping them navigate common uncertainties and outdated advice with greater confidence.
