Babyschwimmen Kassel

Susanna Eckhardt and Diana Siebert offer swimming courses for babies and young children in Kassel and Niestetal, creating welcoming opportunities for families to discover and enjoy the water together. Their approach emphasizes play, trust, shared experiences, and each child’s individual development rather than performance or learning to swim quickly. Activities in and out of the water are designed to support children’s physical and motor development in an age-appropriate way.

Baby swimming is available for infants from six to 18 months, with playful exercises that encourage water confidence and positive early experiences. Courses for young children, approximately 1.5 to four years old, build on existing skills through movement, games, and activities with a parent or trusted companion. As children grow more comfortable, they can explore greater independence in the water using swimming and flotation aids.

The instructors also provide swimming sessions for children with disabilities or additional needs. Exercises are adapted to each child, and parents receive guidance in safe, supportive ways to accompany them.
