Babysits

Babysits is an online childcare platform that helps families connect with babysitters, nannies and childminders, while also helping caregivers find jobs. Used by more than eight million families and caregivers, the service offers searchable profiles and listings that can be filtered to suit a family’s needs. Members can review profiles, send messages, check references and arrange an introductory meeting before deciding whether to work together. Babysits provides a free way to get started, alongside a Premium option designed to help families find a suitable caregiver more quickly.

Safety is central to the platform. Members must complete identity verification before messaging, and profiles, messages and support requests are automatically screened for fraud or suspicious activity. Reviews and references from other members are also available, with an optional criminal-record check. Babysits supports searches for babysitters, nannies, special-needs care and family-to-family help, and lists childcare jobs in locations around the world. Its mobile app lets users browse local caregivers and job opportunities, manage conversations and find care on the go.
