BACARiA dadante

Bacarìa da Dante is a family-rooted food and hospitality business in the Santa Croce area of Bassano del Grappa, continuing a local grocery tradition that dates back to 1958. Reimagined in 2016, it combines the character of a traditional Italian food shop with the welcoming spirit of a Venetian bacaro, bringing regional heritage together with a contemporary approach.

The business serves fresh, seasonal dishes inspired by Veneto and Mediterranean cuisine, prepared with locally sourced ingredients and available for lunch or takeaway. Guests can also enjoy dinner, coffee, bread, milk, cheeses, cured meats and a carefully selected range of wines by the glass. Its wine selection includes Italian producers, with particular attention to organic wines and food pairings.

Bacarìa also offers regional specialties such as pasta, preserves, focaccia, spirits and liqueurs. Alongside its food and wine activities, it operates a long-established tobacco shop selling cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco and related products. External self-service machines provide tobacco products, snacks and drinks around the clock.
