Project Bacharu Toshokan

Project Bācharu Toshokan, also known as Bācharu, is a free VTuber discovery and information platform built as a solo-developer passion project. Its database lists more than 104,000 Virtual YouTubers, helping fans explore individual creators, groups and agencies across the VTuber community. Visitors can search and browse profiles, find creators who are live, and discover themed collections, seasonal features, debut anniversaries and birthdays. Search and discovery tools include filters for topics such as animals and hashtags, while selected profiles may show activity and audience information, partner or affiliate indicators, and live-stream details.

The site also offers personalized color themes, bookmarks and live notifications, alongside community features such as Discord and ways to support VTubers. Bācharu is currently in beta and is free to use. Its development roadmap is tied to community support, with milestones intended to unlock further tools and enhancements. The API will remain public, while additional roadmap features depend on reaching the project’s stated full-release support goal.
