Backabit is a creative and innovative brand founded by Tyler Sticka and Tim Sears in the Fall of 2010. This dynamic duo initially came together to develop Ramps, an iPhone app based on a popular Flash game Tyler created during his college days studying web design. Since then, they have continued to collaborate on exciting projects, bringing us other fantastic games like Lotsa Blocks and Overreactions.
Tyler Sticka, the design guru of Backabit, is also a Lead Experience Designer at WE Studio D. With his expertise, he leads a team of designers to create impressive digital solutions for various companies. He is also an esteemed speaker at design events and provides web design classes at the Art Institute of Portland.
Tim Sears, the development wizard of Backabit, has a passion for creating innovative applications. His work includes Robotvision, one of the first augmented reality apps that gained immense popularity overnight. Tim has collaborated with remarkable companies like iMarginal in France to develop CultureClic, an augmented reality app that explores and appreciates art and culture.
Together, Tyler and Tim's exceptional talents and shared vision have led to the creation of Backabit. With their latest venture, they have not only launched an incredible iOS game but also established a successful company. Backabit continues to push boundaries and captivate users with their exceptional products and services
