Backbeat Farm

Backbeat Farm is a small, family-run cut flower farm in Chelsea, Michigan, offering locally grown, premium-quality blooms for everyday enjoyment, gifts, and special occasions. The farm’s flowers are cultivated in the fields and sold through its seasonal roadside flower cart, local markets and retail outlets, as well as special orders and online CSA or subscription options. The roadside stand typically operates from May through October on Fridays and Saturdays, subject to availability and seasonal updates; the farm closes after the first frost.

Backbeat Farm’s work is rooted in community, connecting local flower lovers and gift-givers with blooms grown close to home. Its flowers are 100% field-grown, and the family emphasizes climate-friendly practices that respect the surrounding wildlife. Because the farm is also home to the family, their children and chickens, and a source of household produce, Backbeat Farm commits to growing flowers without herbicides or pesticides. Customers can visit the flower cart, find the farm at local markets, place special orders, or sign up for email updates about farm news, sales, and events.
