BackUPS Kft

BackUPS Kft. provides installation, maintenance, and repair services for power protection, emergency lighting, and smart home systems. Its services are aimed primarily at business customers, while its Apple HomeKit-based home automation is designed for residential clients.

With nearly 30 years of experience in uninterruptible power supplies, the company commissions, services, and repairs a range of equipment used to protect critical infrastructure. It works with European products, including GTEC systems, and also recommends SPS UPS units as a more affordable option.

BackUPS Kft. maintains central emergency lighting systems and repairs many types of control units. Since 2019, it has recommended NormaLux products, including central battery and self-contained emergency lighting solutions.

For homes, the company creates locally operated smart systems centered on Apple HomeKit. Its approach emphasizes intuitive control through Apple’s Home app, compatibility with devices from multiple manufacturers, straightforward installation, and systems that can develop alongside Apple software updates. BackUPS Kft. is based in Budapest and can be contacted by phone or email.
