Backyard BMX, originally established as Backyard Skates in Hastings in 1989, has evolved into a premier online destination for BMX enthusiasts. Initially focused on skateboards and streetwear, the brand swiftly became dedicated to BMX, dropping 'Skates' from its name as the sport gained traction. Backyard BMX has played a pivotal role in the BMX community, notably by organizing the first Backyard Jam in 1992, which attracted passionate riders from far and wide.
Today, Backyard BMX offers an extensive range of BMX bikes—including kids' options, as well as bikes from leading brands like Cult, Fiend, Kink, and Subrosa. Their catalog also features quality BMX parts and accessories, protective gear, and stylish clothing to cater to the diverse needs of riders. Furthermore, a portion of each sale goes towards supporting local BMX shops and skateparks, reinforcing their commitment to nurturing the BMX community. With excellent customer satisfaction, Backyard BMX is dedicated to enhancing the BMX experience for riders of all ages.
