Badass Animal Rescue is an exceptional all-breed dog rescue organization located in Brooklyn, NY. As a 501(c)3 volunteer-run nonprofit, our dedicated team of rescuers, fosters, and volunteers work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for sweet and loving dogs. We specialize in saving adoptable dogs from high-kill pounds in the rural south, providing them with a second chance at life.

At Badass Animal Rescue, we prioritize responsible rescue and ensure that all our dogs, regardless of breed, age, size, or medical history, receive comprehensive veterinary care. This includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment, and flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In some cases, our dogs may require surgery or specialist veterinary care, which we are committed to providing.

We rely on the support of our amazing foster families to provide care, training, and love to our rescued dogs until they find their forever homes. The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save! Join us in our mission to rescue and rehabilitate dogs in need by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or making a recurring donation. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals
