Wisconsin Badgers

Wisconsin Athletics is the University of Wisconsin’s athletic department, connecting Badger fans, alumni, students, and communities through sports, shared experiences, and school spirit. Its Building Champions campaign supports a major investment in student-athlete facilities and the future of Wisconsin sports. The centerpiece is the Kellner Family Athletic Center, a $285 million project named for Ted and Mary Kellner and their family. Designed for use by all 23 varsity sports, the facility will include an indoor turf field, strength and conditioning center, training track, dining hall, sports medicine center, locker rooms, coaching offices, and student-athlete well-being spaces.

The campaign seeks $100 million to enhance the investment in Wisconsin Athletics and help its teams compete for championships. At the time of the published information, $90 million had been committed. Wisconsin Athletics also hosts sporting events, camps, and other activities, welcoming nearly two million people each year and generating an estimated $757 million in annual economic impact for the state.
