Bad Girl is the official brand for the television anime adaptation of Nikumaru’s manga, serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat. The series is a lively school comedy centered on Yuu Yuutani, a capable, well-behaved first-year student who hopes to attract the attention of Atori Mizutori, the admired student council and discipline committee leader. Yuu decides to imitate a delinquent, though her good nature and earnestness quickly complicate the act.
The story follows their interactions and those of a distinctive group of classmates, including Yuu’s childhood friend Suzu, beauty creator Rura, book committee leader Kiyoraka, and Atori’s sister Mizuka. The anime features a Japanese voice cast including Asaki Tachibana, Hina Hanamiya, Misato Matsuoka, and Lynn, with animation by Bridge and music by Arisa Okehazama. The official site provides series news, broadcast and streaming information, story and character profiles, staff and cast comments, music details, and updates about Blu-ray releases, merchandise, comics, radio, and the show’s official social account
