About BADM
Bay Area Discovery Museum is a children’s museum in Sausalito, California, located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. It offers hands-on experiences designed for children from birth through age eight, encouraging families to explore, create, and learn through play. Visitors can discover a range of interactive zones, enjoy special events, and take part in camps and programs, including school-break camps.
The museum also hosts birthday parties and provides field trips, educator resources, professional development, and school and community programs delivered at local sites. Families can plan a visit, purchase tickets, or become members, while organizations can explore corporate partnership opportunities. The museum’s setting near the shore and its views of the Golden Gate Bridge add to the experience.
Open Wednesday through Sunday, Bay Area Discovery Museum serves families, educators, and community groups seeking engaging activities for young children. It is located at 557 McReynolds Road in Sausalito and shares updates through its email newsletter
