BadMetar. com is an aviation weather information website that highlights adverse METAR and SPECI reports from airports around the world. Its main service is a regularly updated listing of recent reports describing potentially challenging conditions, helping visitors quickly review weather observations at airports across North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.

The displayed entries identify each airport by its code and name, show how recently the report was recorded, and summarize conditions such as light or heavy rain, snow, thunderstorms, and gusty or very gusty winds. Reports also include an atmospheric pressure reading and a flight category, such as VFR, MVFR, IFR, or LIFR, with a link to further details. A map provides a geographic view of the reported observations, supported by OpenStreetMap and weather data credited to IEM Nexrad.

The site focuses on presenting notable or unfavorable aviation weather in a concise, scannable format rather than offering a broad range of aviation products or services
