Badminton Denmark is the badminton association in Denmark. Studies from MMI Research/Vilstrup show that the Danish people have a very positive appreciation of badminton and many people are actively engaged in badminton. As a badminton nation we are doing great e.g. by winning Thomas Cup 2016 and Olympic medals! This gives rise to a huge amount of media exposure, whether this being on TV, on the Internet or in the newspapers. Badminton Denmark arranges major national and international badminton tournaments with the participation of top players from all over the world. The tournament Denmark Open is a great example of a successful event held by Badminton Denmark with a reach of 300.000.000 households whereof a big part of these households are in Asia. However, badminton is more than what’s taking place on the court. It is more than winning or losing. It is a community, the endeavor to development, joy and experiences for life.
