BAF Wax, also known as BAF Snow, is a veteran-owned brand producing handmade ski and snowboard wax in the USA. Founded in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, in 2005, the company has been headquartered in Cedaredge since 2017. Its products are made with American ingredients and designed for snow-sport performance and environmental responsibility.
BAF’s mineral-based Formula 421 (F421) wax is available in hot-wax and rub-on applications for skis and snowboards. The brand says the formula is EPA-approved and has been validated by NASA as safe for the environment. Customers can purchase products through BAF’s online store and a network of local ski and snowboard retailers. BAF also offers custom-branded F421 wax orders, with inquiries directed to the company by email.
Alongside its products, BAF shares news, reviews, and updates through its website and newsletter, and encourages customers to join its BAF Bomb Squad community. The brand’s identity is closely connected to snowboarding and mountain culture, with team members and supporters based at resorts and snow-sport destinations across the United States.
