Banque alimentaire de Guadeloupe | Baie is an essential organization that aims to fight hunger and reduce food waste. Established in 1997 by Rodrigue LAUBLAS, a young Guadeloupean, the organization recognized the importance of a food bank in addressing the social challenges faced by the local community. Inspired by similar initiatives in countries like the United States, France, and Canada, Banque alimentaire de Guadeloupe provides a logistical platform for supplying food to local associations and Social Welfare Centers (CCAS) that support those experiencing poverty.

The organization organizes two major food drives each year, one in November (National Collection) and the other in May (Regional Collection). As a member of the Banques Alimentaires network, the largest food aid network in France, Banque alimentaire de Guadeloupe operates as a non-governmental, apolitical humanitarian association. Their mission is to combat hunger and food wastage, promote donation and sharing, and preserve the autonomy and dignity of individuals.
