Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula has been dedicated to providing an inclusive and safe space for youth living on the Virginia Peninsula since 1946. With a wide range of development opportunities, we ensure that our members have access to a variety of programs and services. Through our after-school and summer programs, youth not only benefit from engaging in Club programming, but they also build meaningful relationships with their peers, adult staff, and volunteers.

Our core programs focus on Education, Leadership & Service, Health & Wellness, The Arts, and Sports & Recreation. We believe in the power of holistic development and strive to empower our members in every aspect of their lives. Over the past 75 years, we have grown from serving 250 boys to now reaching over 5,000 boys and girls ages 6-18 annually in Newport News, Hampton, James City, York, Gloucester, and Mathews.
