Bagó

Grupo Bagó is a multinational group founded in Argentina, with roots dating back to 1934, when Sebastián Bagó established Laboratorios Bagó. Its activities span biopharmaceuticals, animal health, pharmaceutical distribution, insurance and bulk chemicals. The group’s pharmaceutical and biological products are recognized internationally for quality and therapeutic effectiveness, supported by research, clinical and pharmacotechnical evaluations, and compliance with demanding international standards.

Research and development are central to Bagó’s approach, alongside investment in industrial capacity and technical and commercial service. Its biopharmaceutical operations include companies across Latin America and other markets, producing medicines and related products. Through Biogénesis-Bagó, the group develops animal health products and services, including biotechnology-based solutions for diseases affecting livestock health and productivity.

Bagó also operates three pharmaceutical distributors in Latin America: Disprofarma in Argentina, Novofarma in Chile and Intercom in Paraguay. Victoria Seguros provides insurance for individuals, families, businesses and professional activities. In bulk chemicals, the group produces active pharmaceutical ingredients at a specialized industrial plant with modern technology and strict safety and process controls.
