About Pharma Deutschland
The Bundesverband der Arzneimittel-Hersteller e. V. (BAH) is the largest pharmaceutical association in Germany, with over 400 members.
Representing predominantly medium-sized companies, the BAH advocates for the interests of its members who contribute significantly to the pharmaceutical supply in Germany. With approximately 80,000 employees, they manufacture almost two-thirds of prescription drugs and nearly 80% of over-the-counter medications. As the leading industry association in the country, the BAH provides a wide range of services and resources to its members.
Their topics of focus include pharmaceuticals in Europe, drug safety, digitalization, medicine shortages, sustainability, pricing and regulations, and self-medication. Through publications, position papers, and statements, the BAH actively engages in the public discourse on pharmaceuticals. They also organize events, such as seminars and conferences, to promote knowledge exchange within the industry.
