Baika is a social enterprise that provides bicycles to children in rural areas. With the motto Pedaling towards a better future, Baika aims to address the challenges faced by children who have to walk long distances to reach their schools. These hardships, including tardiness, demotivation, absenteeism, fatigue, and even dropout rates, hamper their education and overall well-being.

To solve this problem, Baika distributes bicycles to these children, reducing the time and effort required to commute to school. So far, Baika has delivered 1003 bicycles, benefiting 40 schools and reaching areas such as Ayacucho, Arequipa, Cusco, and Puno. The process involves collecting donated bicycles, ensuring their maintenance, and finally, volunteers personally delivering the bicycles to the children.

The impact of Baika's efforts is remarkable. The time taken for travel has reduced by 42 minutes, improving attendance rates significantly and increasing the likelihood of exceptional academic performance by 23%. Baika's success has been recognized with awards such as the Certificado de Premios Latinoamérica verde and inclusion in the University of the Pacific's honor list.
