Bailey Family

The Bailey Family Foundation is a philanthropic organization focused on expanding access to and improving the quality of post-secondary education. Based in Tampa, Florida, it supports students primarily in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Polk counties through scholarship funding. The foundation reports distributing more than $36 million to date and providing over $2 million annually for more than 500 scholarships.

Its scholarship programs have supported high school seniors with financial need, strong academic achievement and a commitment to community service through renewable awards of $5,000, available for up to four years. College students with similar qualifications have also been eligible for $5,000 non-renewable scholarships, with previous recipients able to reapply. The foundation shares recipient success stories and publishes newsletters to keep its community informed.

Beginning in 2026, the foundation is accepting renewal scholarship applications only and will no longer award direct scholarships through a new-application process.
