Bailey Farms Inc

Bailey Farms is a family-run grower of farm-fresh specialty peppers, operating since 1989. The farm is dedicated to producing high-quality peppers and supporting the growing interest in spicy food. Its offerings include chile peppers such as jalapeños, Anaheim and poblano varieties, with information on the site to help customers understand their characteristics and use them in cooking.

Bailey Farms grows conventionally, while using sustainable practices designed to encourage a natural balance on its farms and reduce pesticide use. Examples include planting sunflowers to attract beneficial insects and using ground shells to help protect vegetable roots. The farm also states that its peppers are not grown from GMO seeds.

Beyond growing peppers, Bailey Farms shares recipes, practical preparation advice, and educational resources about chile pepper anatomy, heat, capsaicin and the Scoville scale. Visitors can learn techniques for roasting and peeling peppers, as well as ways to ease the heat of spicy foods.
