Bajkazyl HK

Bajkazyl HK is a nonprofit community bicycle workshop and cultural club in Hradec Králové, founded in 2017. Its work promotes cycling, sustainable urban mobility, reuse and community life. At the self-service workshop, visitors can repair their own bicycles for a small contribution, find parts salvaged from donated bikes, and get guidance from volunteer mechanics. The workshop focuses especially on older models, including Eska, Velamos, Favorit and Liberta, helping keep usable bicycles on the road and reduce waste.

Bajkazyl HK also hosts live music, with concerts spanning punk, rock, metal and folk, as well as Czech-German Stammtisch gatherings and a summer cinema in cooperation with Bio Centrál. Its community activities include mobility campaigns, local clean-ups and support for projects that pass on donated bicycles to Africa and Ukraine. The organization also provides a micro-depot for transferring parcels to cargo bikes and technical facilities for cycle couriers. Based at Československé armády 216, it welcomes visitors during regular Thursday opening hours and for events or by arrangement.
