Baker's TKD

Baker’s Tae Kwon Do Team LLC is a traditional ITF-style Korean martial arts school based in Salisbury, Connecticut. Led by instructors Dylan Baker, Mike Thomas, and Mark Schmidt, the school teaches Taekwondo as more than a system of kicks and punches, emphasizing respect, discipline, positivity, and teamwork alongside physical skills. Its training is open to people of different ages, genders, backgrounds, body types, and learning levels, and takes place in a safe, controlled environment.

Students work to develop motor skills, strength, agility, coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina, speed, self-esteem, and confidence. The school also encourages students to practice courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit in everyday life. As students progress, they can earn belt ranks and uniforms through dedication and practice.

When ready, students may demonstrate or compete in forms, sparring, breaking, and weaponry at regional open tournaments. Baker’s Tae Kwon Do Team promotes constructive, defensive use of martial arts and aims to help students grow positively and contribute to a more peaceful world
