Schwan's Consumer Brands Inc., based in Bloomington, Minnesota, is a brand that understands the importance of a good crust when it comes to pizza. According to Mintel's 2022 report on the US pizza category, consumer preferences for pizza largely revolve around the crust. Recognizing this, Schwan's is launching Red Baron Fully Loaded Hand Tossed Style Crust Pizza, an extension of its popular Fully Loaded Original Crust Pizza.

The hand-tossed style crust is soft and chewy, but with a satisfying crispness that eliminates the dreaded flop when holding a slice. Designed to provide an indulgent, restaurant-style experience, it offers a distinct option for consumers who prefer hand-tossed pizza. While toppings may be the battleground in the pizza category, Schwan's understands that the war is won with the crust.

By offering this new hand-tossed style crust option, they are catering to a significant number of consumers who seek out this type of crust in pizzerias and quick-serve restaurants across the United States. Schwan's Consumer Brands Inc
