Baksı Museum

Baksı Museum is a cultural and arts institution supported by the Baksı Culture and Arts Foundation, bringing contemporary art into conversation with the distinctive culture of Anatolia. Its program includes exhibitions, events, artist projects and the annual Anatolian Awards, which recognize artists whose work crosses boundaries and offers new perspectives. The museum also hosts Utopia Workshops, where students and participants of different ages work with experienced artists to explore contemporary art, experiment with materials and create new work inspired by the surrounding landscape and local culture.

Beyond its museum and arts activities, Baksı supports community education and opportunity. The Baksı Hüsame Köklü Women’s Education Centre in Bayburt offers women from the city and nearby villages opportunities for vocational learning, productive participation and greater economic independence. The institution also provides the Baksı Guest House as an accommodation option for visitors seeking a nature-oriented stay, outdoor activities or cultural discovery. Through exhibitions, education, awards and hospitality, Baksı connects artistic practice with regional life and community engagement.
