Balanced Beginnings, LLC provides professional postpartum and newborn support through in-home visits for families in West Michigan. Founded by Sara Keller, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 15 years of pediatric experience, the business combines warm, hands-on guidance with evidence-informed knowledge of infant development. Sara draws on her clinical background and experience as a mother of five to help parents feel more confident during the early weeks with a new baby.

Services include Newborn Guidance Visits, with individualized advice on everyday care, handling, carrying, burping, diapering, soothing, positioning, feeding comfort, and early movement. Families can also book a Developmental Assessment featuring screening of head shape, symmetry, movement patterns, and milestone readiness, along with practical ideas for supporting development at home. The optional Renew & Recharge service provides professional newborn care so parents can rest, recover, or attend to other needs. Sessions can be adapted for circumstances such as multiples or a longer hospital stay. Balanced Beginnings is a private-pay service and does not provide physical therapy evaluation or treatment.
