Balance Speech and Behavior

Balance Speech and Behavior is a New Mexico-based provider of speech and behavior support, using the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to serve people with a wide range of communication and behavioral needs across the lifespan. The organization emphasizes compassionate, trauma-assumed care and aims to support individuals who may not be adequately served by conventional ABA agencies, including people with complex medical or psychiatric needs, a history of trauma, or dangerous problem behavior. Its team includes experienced frontline staff with advanced training and certifications, alongside board-certified behavior analysts who provide clinical oversight.

Services include Skills Based Treatment, an ABA approach for individuals whose significant problem behavior affects them in multiple settings, with an emphasis on safety, learnability, and rapport. The organization also supports adolescents and adults with Medicaid in New Mexico by helping them build a circle of care, improve quality of life, address obstacles, and strengthen communication. Social skills groups are offered online through Zoom for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as specialized dating or relationship groups for teens and adults.
