Baldilocks Sphynx

Baldilocks Sphynx is a CFA-registered cattery based in Bethel, Connecticut, specializing in Sphynx cats and kittens. Guided by experienced Sphynx breeders, the cattery aims to breed kittens that meet the CFA standard while making the health, quality, and temperament of its cats central priorities. Its broader mission is to preserve and protect the Sphynx breed for future generations.

The breeding program grew from the owner’s personal affection for the breed and experience as a Sphynx pet owner. Baldilocks Sphynx describes responsible, ethical breeding as a commitment to both its cats and the wider Sphynx community. All cats at the cattery have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS. Breeding cats receive DNA testing for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy through North Carolina State Veterinary Hospital, and current and former breeding cats have yearly echocardiograms performed by board-certified veterinary cardiologists.

The cattery offers Sphynx kittens to prospective owners and provides information about its cats, adoption, and Sphynx breed facts, helping potential kitten parents learn about the breed and the cattery’s approach.
