Ballonpilot

Ballonpilot Stefu Wälchli is a Swiss hot-air ballooning company led by balloon pilot Stefan Wälchli. Based in Riken, the company offers passengers the chance to leave everyday routines behind and experience the landscape from the air. Guests can book balloon rides and travel with the wind in a traditional wicker basket, enjoying views that change with the seasons.

Flights are available throughout the year, with experiences ranging from journeys over fresh winter snow and spring meadows to summer skies and colourful autumn forests. The company also shares news and stories about its flights, including seasonal trips and special journeys such as an Alpine crossing when conditions allow. Its offerings include accessible ballooning, with information provided for passengers seeking this option.

Ballonpilot’s fleet features balloons in different sizes, colours and shapes, and the company provides an information sheet to help guests learn more about them. With a focus on the adventure and beauty of balloon travel, Stefu Wälchli invites passengers to enjoy a memorable flight through the Swiss skies
