Ballygallon Stud is a small, independent horse stud located in the picturesque town of Inistioge, Kilkenny. Since its inception in 1986, Ballygallon Stud has established a strong reputation for breeding and training high-quality thoroughbred racing horses in Ireland. Owned and operated by Belinda Strudwick, who took over full responsibility of the farm after marrying Roy Strudwick in 1996, Ballygallon Stud is dedicated to stocking the farm with top-class bloodstock and maintaining the highest standards in its facilities.

Initially focused on cattle, the farm transitioned into a unique private stud, bringing in exceptional broodmares from France, America, and the UK. With approximately 220 acres of land, Ballygallon Stud has expanded its facilities over the years to include sales preparation and pre-training amenities such as lunge rings, a horse walker, a sand arena, and an all-weather sand and fibre gallop. The farm prides itself on producing high-quality horses from a small number of mares, whether for commercial purposes or as an owner/breeder.
