The Baltic Security Foundation (BSF), established in 2019, is dedicated to promoting the security and defense of the Baltic Sea region. As a result of the Baltic Security Strategy Project (2017-2019), which brought together defense and security experts, the foundation aims to address the shared challenges faced by the Baltic States and recommend solutions. The BSF serves as a platform for discussion, research, and networking among Baltic experts and security professionals.

It facilitates expert mobility, fosters regional security in military and other areas, and provides policy analysis and advice to Baltic and Allied stakeholders. Additionally, the BSF organizes conferences, such as the Baltic Sea Security series, and publishes reports focusing on important security issues. Membership with BSF grants access to a network of Baltic defense and security experts, priority engagement in activities and projects, and opportunities to apply for support from BSF.

The foundation is open to partnerships with governmental and private institutions, as well as individual experts, who share their goals and objectives.
