Introducing Banff Eco-Transit Hub, a sustainable transportation initiative envisioned to harmonize human and wildlife movement within Banff National Park and the Town of Banff. Supported by the Banff Railway Lands Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP), this project aims to rejuvenate the historic Banff Train Station and its surrounding lands into a vibrant visitor destination. Beyond being a transportation hub, it will offer intercept parking, potential aerial transit to Norquay, and rail connections to Calgary and neighboring municipalities.

Moreover, the hub will feature community spaces, cultural events, educational opportunities, and dining experiences in a walkable environment. With a focus on sustainability, the project seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and restore key natural and heritage sites. Collaborations between governments and the private sector will drive this vision forward, supporting initiatives like BANFF NATIONAL PARK NET ZERO 2035.
