Barbagianni Fine Dining

Barbagianni is a fine-dining restaurant in Colle di Val d’Elsa, a Tuscan town along the historic Via Francigena. Set among stone tower houses and medieval streets, it offers a dining experience rooted in the region’s landscape, ingredients and culinary traditions. The kitchen is led by executive chef Alessandro Rossi, whose cooking combines a distinctly Tuscan identity with careful presentation and French-derived technique.

The menu brings together produce from different parts of Tuscany, including Maremma ingredients such as offal, game and Pan co’ Santi, alongside seafood such as turbot, cuttlefish and prawns. Vegetables, herbs and edible flowers come from the restaurant’s nearby biodynamic garden, which also grows sea plants including samphire and sea fennel. Barbagianni’s wine list showcases Tuscan producers, from renowned wineries to small family-run estates.

Guests can reserve a table for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 21:30; it is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday lunchtimes.
