Welcome to the official site of Fanfare St. Barbara G.A., a vibrant music association based in Landgraaf. Our ensemble embodies a welcoming atmosphere for musicians of all ages, offering a dynamic blend of traditional fanfare and contemporary light music. Under the direction of conductor Math Somers, we present a diverse repertoire that includes staple performances and exciting projects, such as our annual Halloween concert and the popular Maestro competition in Landgraaf.

In addition to our performances, which number between 12 to 15 each year, we are actively involved in local festivities, contributing to events like communions, carnivals, and processions. We meet every Wednesday evening for rehearsals from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, welcoming new members of all skill levels. Joining us provides access to free instrument use, internal music lessons from qualified teachers, and discounts at the music school, all for a modest membership fee of 10 euros per month.
