Barbel

Barbel Fishing World (BFW), founded in 1996 by Andy Frances, is the premier online destination for barbel anglers seeking a comprehensive fishing resource. Initially a hobby, BFW has transformed into a widely-admired platform, renowned for its vibrant community of angling enthusiasts. With the operational leadership recently transitioning back to Andy, the site continues to thrive, supported by a dedicated volunteer team passionate about barbel fishing.

BFW offers an extensive array of services and products, including insightful tackle reviews, informative articles, and dynamic forums for anglers of all levels. Additionally, the secure online shop stocks a variety of essential barbel fishing gear. BFW takes pride in providing up-to-date river reports and fosters an inclusive environment where anglers can share experiences and advice freely.

Dedicated to promoting the joys of barbel fishing without a political agenda, BFW encourages respectful discourse among its visitors. Join this growing community to connect with fellow anglers and enhance your barbel fishing journey!
