Barbell is a self-custody trading platform built around “bars”: baskets of Robinhood Chain coins assembled to express a market thesis. Users choose the coins and set their own allocation, then share the basket as a post or summon one in reply to a post on X. Other users can tap a buy link to purchase the basket, with coins sent directly to their own wallets rather than held by Barbell.
The platform’s guard checks whether each coin can be sold in simulation and assesses liquidity and estimated fills across Uniswap v3 and v4; baskets containing coins that fail the sell test are rejected. Barbell charges a stated 0. 75% fee on buys.
Its current fee arrangement directs proceeds to a single treasury, while a proposed model would allocate portions to the basket’s author, treasury operations, and buybacks that burn $BARBELL tokens. The site describes the token, buyback system, and fee split as planned, and says $BARBELL is live on Pons
